How to create a photo slide show and link

You can create a photo slide show of your parish events, etc. and the process is very simple.

The simple steps to create a slide show of your own follows below:

Go to: http://www.google.com/accounts

Login to your Google Account with the LOGIN and PASSWORD that we have provided you.

Example:

Login: editor.PARISHNAME&ZIPCODE@parishworld.net

Password: Enter your password

Under My Products you will find that you can edit many things including your BLOGS, Calendar, Google Places and Picasa Web Albums.

Click on Picasa Web Albums.

To start a new gallery, you simply click on the Upload button at the top.

Create a Title for your gallery.

Follow the instructions to add your photos from your computer to the new gallery.

You can choose an image to be your cover image and arrange the photos in the order you want them to appear. Once that is done, you can create and view a slide show.


HOW TO CREATE AND EMBED A SLIDE SHOW IN AN ARTICLE

In Picasa on the right hand side there is a link that states: Link to this album.

Click that link and you will then see: Embed Slideshow

Click that link and use the size MEDIUM 288px and copy the Embed Code.

That is the code that needs to be entered in the article in the PWADMIN Content Item Manager.

The Embed Code will be copied and pasted into the SOURCE code in the Content Item Manager.
