Stewardship is not just about money. It also involves the sharing of one's Time and Talent. Your parish is probably not unlike many of the other parishes in the United States. A small minority of the members are doing most of the work for the large majority.
We believe there are three very simple reasons for this:
1. They don't know you need help.
2. They don't know how to help.
3. You don't ask for help or they don't hear you asking for help.
Your new parish website offers a simple solution. It has a special section devoted to this exclusively: SHARE YOUR TIME. You can find the link prominently displayed in the top navigation bar.
We encourage you to post all your volunteer needs into this section. And we encourage you to promote this section at every opportunity - in your bulletin and from the pulpit.
