ParishWorld.net is committed to making itself a resource for Whole Community Catechesis. In some parts of the world this is also known as Lectionary Based Catechesis.
ParishWorld.net assures its readers - pastors and pastoral communities - that it will present substantial reflections flowing from the Sunday Lectionary for total community study during the ensuing week. The coming Sunday's related homilies are posted on the preceding Thursday and remain up until Wednesday after the pertinent Sunday. We post between 8-12 articles a week related to the Sunday Readings, including a couple of homilies in Spanish.
It is the goal of ParishWorld.net to contribute to the evangelization of entire families and communities based on the Word of God as delivered through Scripture and its illustrations related to Christian life as clarified from the Sunday pulpit.
