Here's how you can create that link from your article. You now need to be in the EDIT CONTENT ITEM section and looking at your article in progress.
1. In your article, type the text you want to define as your LINK TEXT, such as CLICK HERE.
2. Highlight the LINK TEXT then click the URL link icon (the blue-green globe) in the third row of the tool bar.
3. A window will open with a URL link box. In the LINK TYPE box, choose URL.
4. Then in the URL box, type or paste in the correct URL of the page you want to jump to.
5. In the URL box, move your curson to hee beginning of link contained in the URL box. You will notice that the link looks something like this:
http://parishworld.net/con_TopStory.cfm?contentUUID=
6. Delete the first few characters of the link and leave the rest of the link in the box starting with: /con
5. Click OK.
6. Then, if you want your URL link to open in another browser window (this is recommended), Click on the TAB named "Target" next to "Link Info" tab. Use the pull-down menu that says and change it to New Window (_Blank). Then Click OK.
7. Continue editing/typing your article. When done, click CONTINUE and save the file. Your links will now be live. And the article will open with your own parish website's banner showing on top of the linked page.
