Loading your own video to the internet and linking to it

This is a fun and simple process to do. And the results will be very satisfactory and visually appealing.

1. First go to this website: www.gloria.tv. ParishWorld has arranged for this website to accept your parish videos for posting. It is a Catholic site and thus, it offers a safer medium to load your videos compared to the more popular and un-moderated YouTube format. As their slogan says, "The more Catholic, the better."

2. If we have not created a log-in account for you, please click REGISTER at the top of the page and create a new account for your parish. You will need to key in a username and a password.

3. Once you are registered, click SIGN IN at the top navigation bar if you are not yet signed in.

4. When you are signed in, click UPLOAD on the upper right hand corner of the page.

5. Fill in the TITLE for your video as you want the public to view it. Fill in the KEYWORDS you want the public to find your website by when they search this video library at www.gloria.tv. And then fill in a DESCRIPTION people will see when they launch your video.

6. Click BROWSE and find the video you want to upload from your computer files. Choose the video file and click OPEN. This will load the video name to your Upload Screen in www.Gloria.tv. Repeat the process to load additional videos.

7. When done, click SUBMIT. Your videos will now load to the server. While gloria.tv will say "Congratulations!" you will need to wait a few minutes for the video(s) to actually show up on the www.gloria.tv website. We approximate about 30 minutes per video to complete the process.

8. In about half an hour, go back to www.gloria.tv, sign in and click your user name. You will find this on very top navigation bar just above the VIDEO link. This will open your account.

9. In your account screen, you will find your user name listed on the top left of the screen. Click VIDEO right below it and a new screen will show with a list of all your uploaded videos. It is now ready for use.

10. Click the video you want to link to and launch it. At the top of the web page, copy the unique URL of this web page that's hosting your video.

11. In PWadmin, you can now make the link from your article to this url link. Click here if you need instructions on how to make links from within your articles.
