Calculating Your Advertising Revenue

We've mentioned in a previous section that our in-house ParishWorld.net sales people will be making solicitation phone calls to generate advertising revenue. And they will. But your revenue will vary depending on who makes the sale.

IF OUR AD SALES REPS CLOSE THE DEAL:

Our reps make 20% of all advertising business they generate. Another 20% will go to the parish that the advertiser chooses as its sponsored parish. And that could be very well be your parish. However, neither you nor us control this choice. The advertisers make this decision when they sign the contract. You still have revenue potential but it all depends on the desire and choice of each specific advertiser. If a lot of them choose your specific parish, then you make a lot of revenue. If they decide to choose another parish, some other parish will get the revenue.

IF YOUR PARISH CLOSES THE DEAL:

If your parish actively promotes the advertising opportunity and generates the business without our sales representatives' help, then you make the entire 40% of the collected amount. It's that simple. You can process the sale by giving potential advertisers the Advertising Order Form (Click here to view it online and print it). Or you can ask them to go online and print it from the Media Kit that is found by clicking ADVERTISE WITH US at the bottom of every page of your web site.

IF YOUR REPS CLOSE THE DEAL:

Now we ask you to consider a third way you can generate more consistent, recurring revenue for your parish. Set up your own parish advertising ministry and recruit your own reps. They will make a 20% commission. And your parish can make an equivalent 20% commission. You recruit them. We contract them to sell under ParishWorld contracts and we take care of all their employment paperwork and requirements. But they can exclusively be soliciting ads for your parish only. And you make a dollar every time they make a dollar.

Think about this: if you had three reps and each one of them makes $2,000 a month in commissions, your parish can make $6,000 a month in Advertising revenues! Every month. All you need to do is put the word out among your parish members that your website needs sales people to assist the parish generate much-needed funds. And with the amount of people looking for work in today's sluggish economy, chances are you will find a lot of takers.
